MIRROR DIMEN
SION

dIMENSIÓN DE ESPEJOS (Mirror Dimension) is an experimental short film that explores the intersection of light, consciousness, and alternate realities through the use of mirrors and reflections. The film delves into the concept of fragmented identity, inviting the audience to question the nature of perception and existence. By employing video mapping, projections, and kaleidoscopic imagery, Mirror Dimension creates an immersive, dreamlike atmosphere where time and space dissolve, opening portals to other dimensions.

The visual language of the film is deeply rooted in avant-garde cinema, blending scientific theories on black holes and consciousness with poetic and surrealist aesthetics. Each frame is designed as a moving painting, where light becomes a narrative element, guiding the viewer through a metaphysical journey of self-discovery and transformation.

Mirror Dimension has been showcased in multiple international film festivals, including Massapê Projetos São Paulo, Bogotá Experimental Film Festival, ULTRAcinema México, and Porto Femme Festival in Portugal, among others. Its screenings have contributed to ongoing discussions about experimental cinema as a medium for exploring the unseen and the intangible, pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling.
